An intriguing sci-fi novel with tactical gameplay elements.
The Story is the stronger point and probably responsible for the high estimation of the public, making sci-fi is hard, it is because the plots (in most cases) have logical holes that are not obvious to the creators at first glance, in contrast, 13 sentinels is brilliantly written, each complains or nonsense you will see during your journey will be resolved, many times with a wow moment that let you amazed and some times clapping figuratively or literally.
This story is filled with intervals of gameplay where you can find a merge between a tower defense and a tactical turn-based game, pretty fun, with interesting interactions that will deep into the relations between the characters and deep in the lore of this universe.
In summary, this game makes everything good, the only downside -and it is not so- is the reuse of assets and locations, probably because of budget limitations, making the 60 dollars price tag feel a bit high nevertheless any discount is a no brains choice to get.
